DESCRIPTION AKA Chinese Moon Moth from the cold high mountainous cloud forest regions of southern China. The moon moth gets its name from its moon-like spots. The adult Saturniidae moths have no mouth parts or feeding tubes and live for 10 - 12 days as adults. These moths are sexually dimorphic, the males lemon/pink coloured whilst the females are pale white with a hint of green. Both have lovely long tails.
These specimens are hand reared. Please note as these are a natural product some tails may have small twisting and marks .
