DESCRIPTION AKA White Glider. Crisp white coloured wings with a touch of black. This butterfly is from the family Pieridae with wingspan up to 85mm. These male Ascia butterflies love to " Mud puddle ". After rain, they congregate on muddy banks of river and take up minerals which gives them much needed energy for their frantic mating activities.
