DESCRIPTION 3 huge horns on this fantastic rhinoceros beetle. They usually can fly and typically have four wings. Two of the wings are hardened (elytra) and serve as a body cover to protect the flying wings and abdomen. Body coloration is shiney jet-black. These are often kept as pets.
Similar to the Atlas beetle in appearance the only difference being in the thickness of its horn. They are often bred in captivity and love to eat watermelon and mango.
