DESCRIPTION AKA Common purple tip. Small but pretty white butterfly with unusual neon purple tips. The most gorgeous little butterfly as the purple tips are so unusual. The flight of this little butterfly is fast and direct and from 1-2m above the ground. They are often seen feeding on flowers. Those found at high altitude are seen backing in the sun in order to raise their body temperature. They are found to be more common in summer and autumn but are also seen year round. Colour differences may occur between seasonal forms.
