DESCRIPTION These stunning little butterflies are from the family Pieridae. Small but pretty white butterflies with dark purple tips on top wings and characterised by feint radial viens . They are found in the forests are are frequently found feeding from flowers. The wingspan is approx. 57mm. Ione forewings have more of a neon purple than that of the regina. Notice the tips of the wings change colour when on different angles.
