DESCRIPTION Theretra alecto - AKA Levant hawk moth. It inhabits especially villages and other areas rich in gardens and terraces with wine plants. It also occurs in vineyards as the caterpillars feed on wine leaves (Vitis and Parthenocissus).
Hyles gallii - AKA Bedstraw hawk-moth. Coastal, breeding on sand dunes, though can be found inland on waste ground. The caterpillars feed on Bedstraws (Galium spp).
These species were hand reared. Limited stock - rarely available.
