DESCRIPTION AKA Giant Scoliid Wasp one of the largest in the world next to the Pepsis wasp. This is a colourful large wasp with iridescent purple blue wings and golden yellow markings. Covered in black hairs these wasps have giant stingers which they use to paralyze the larvae of the scarab beetle larvae. They are often seen feeding on the nectar of flowers. This wasp is huge !
