DESCRIPTION Deep turquoise banded markings on the upper and lower wings on this beautiful rare swallowtail butterfly from the family Papilionidae. It is aprox. 9 cm with the male having the brightest colouring - the female is a dull brown version. It is endemic to Madagascar and is found in the lowland forests. It is closely related to Papilio orizabus ( which we also stock BAPO ).
Rarely stocked and a must for collectors.
