DESCRIPTION Junonia orithya .Pretty blue butterfly AKA The Blue Pansy or The Blue Argus. With its scalloped wing margins and beautiful markings this little junonia is found in many gardens and open wasteland. It is common along the east coast of Queensland reaching the tip of NSW and the top end of Australia. The male is smaller than the female which has larger eyespots and is a lighter blue in appearance.
Junonia hierta AKA The Yellow Pansy - has lovely orange/yellow markings and is mainly seen in open scrub and grassland habitats of Asia and parts of Africa.

Care
All frames are professionally prepared and fumigated for a minimum of six months prior to sale. While every precaution is taken, museum mites may occasionally occur.
Prevention is better than the cure! To help protect your collection, we strongly recommend placing your display in the freezer for one week each year. Regular inspection and monitoring are also recommended to help preserve your specimen for many years to come.
To minimise fading, avoid direct or reflected sunlight. Please also protect your display from extreme fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
Glass may shatter if dropped. Hang only using the hook provided.
